Animal print continues to be this season’s hottest print. What we thought was all about the leopard print, we see snakeskin really making a name for itself into Fall.

When trying out a new trend, I personally feel the easiest way to try it out is in an accessory. And what better accessory than a fabulous shoe. What I love about a good bootie is that you can dress it up or dress it down, it is one of the most versatile shoes out there. I prefer the trend in a more western style bootie. Pointed toe and slight heel elongate your legs while they hit at such a flattering part of your leg (no stumpy cankles here). But honestly, the snakeskin boot trend can be worn so many different ways. Dress up any casual outfit or add a little sass to an otherwise classic look. Snakeskin is here and I am here for it friends!
Here are 3 of my favorite ways to style snakeskin booties:
BLACK ON BLACK
One of my go to looks is black on black. It’s flattering, naturally stylish, and an easy fall back when you don’t know what to wear. To elevate this look, I love styling snakeskin booties with a head to toe look to add texture and interest vs a pop of color. A black bodysuit paired with destructed black denim will leave you looking SNATCHED.

TONAL PLAY
What’s so beautiful about snakeskin is all the different colors and tones in their design. For a more casual look, pair medium denim with a top that brings out the undertone of your booties. With my specific snakeskin boots, I wanted to play up the cream and tans so I paired the yummiest sweater with a french tuck into my jeans. To dress it up a bit, I paired those same booties with another one of my favorite trends, a satin blouse. Both looks pair nicely with the cream tones in my particular boots.
Pair with a Screen Tee
Keep it casual by pairing your snakeskin boots with a screen tee. My favorite way is to pair it with a band tee for a cooler vibe. I’ve styled my screen tee a couple different ways here. The first way, it with a great pair of updated leggings. These faux leather leggings are one of my favorites as they add an extra edge to some of the most comfortable leggings I own.
For a dressier look, I paired interesting textures and prints is slightly more forward, and fun way to play with snakeskin. Think how pairing florals and stripes surprising looks good together, or leather and lace. To keep it simple, pair items that are similar in color so they compliment one another. I layered a cropped tee over this gorgeous lace dress.
